Interested in papier-mache?  Visit Jonni Good at Ultimate Paper Mache– she has tutorials, patterns, and a recipe for “paper mache clay” which allows for more control over your sculpture-I used her recipe for my boy Joey (above) and her pattern for the chicken above.

Visiting Asheville NC?  I think the best overall website for tourists coming to western North Carolina is Romantic Asheville.  Don’t love the name, but it is well laid out, has tons of information and is updated with local event happenings.

Be sure to visit the Grove Arcade  – it is a magnificent building, and of course, is home to my favorite shops (which sell my work!)   Mountain Made and Asheville NC Home Crafts.

In Biltmore Village, visit New Morning Gallery, it is filled with amazing artwork.  Guaranteed to make you smile.

For information on alcohol ink painting, you can use any search engine or youtube, and you will find more than you ever wanted to know.  One site that is pretty comprehensive is SandySandyfineart.com.
For needle felting supplies and information, try Living Felt.  They are terrific, and they also have a Facebook page you can join if you are a felter.

My favorite game is baseball, and for better or worse, my favorite team is the
I have bled blue and orange since I was a child, since my father was a Mets fan.  He was a Brooklyn Dodger fan, but when the Dodgers abandoned NY for LA, he was left without a team.  When the Mets franchise started, he became a fan.  Those were some tough years, one quote from manager Casey Stengel was “The only thing worse than a Mets game is a Mets doubleheader.”.  The colors they adopted were blue for the Dodgers and orange for the NY Giants, who also left us for CA.
Dad used to bring us to Shea stadium and I remember in 1973 meeting Felix Millan.  We cried when they traded Tom Seaver, and dad and I shared many happy moments in 1986 when our team was contending and finally won the World Series.
Our team has its ups and lots of downs, but our broadcasting booth is the best in the biz; Gary Cohen, Keith Hernandez and Ron Darling.  Sometimes I think they have the best jobs in the world, until we have a season like 2018 when they had to attend every game through to the end and seem happy about it.
We had some promising signs last year; Pete Alonso rookie of the year!  Infield looked pretty good, bullpen, yikes, and starting pitching aside from deGrom is iffy, but you gotta like our chances…
